Task Force Initial Guidelines
- This is an informal, unsanctioned community initiative. We believe the elected leaders in our community have let the kids down.
- All competent people are welcome to the public square and each person must bring passion and commitment to volunteer and add value to the initiative.
- Although a core group of volunteers may emerge, everyone is welcome to participate.
- We will work on multiple initiatives simultaneously and we will gather the information, analyze, and devise action plans to help lead the way forward.
- This process will be better with the cooperation of the School Board and the School Administration, but we will be undeterred if cooperation is not forthcoming.
Participation Guidelines
- All work products from the task force and all materials gathered and created will be placed on the website for scrutiny by the community.
- For this initiative, Tony Perry reserves the right to deselect participants if they are not contributing to the process in a positive and productive manner.
- You must commit to working on finding solutions in a positive, product, and positive manner. If you complain without providing solutions, tear down, denigrate, or target people you disagree with, you will not be allowed in the tent.
- We want to hear all ideas that are thought through. Please be prepared to do the work and put those ideas on the table and into action.
- If you are a person that believes that yelling or talking louder actually strengthens your argument, you will not be allowed in the tent. We are looking for serious people wanting to solve serious problems and, always, have the best interest of the kids in mind.
- Everyone will be heard if they bring productive ideas and energy and behave professionally.
